On Semi’s NCV7680 an octal LED drivers, including eight linear programmable current source, for regulating and controlling the LED combination taillights car. NCV7680 supports two brightness levels, one for parking, the other one for the tail light, you can also opt for PWM control.

Discrete LED brightness level is easy to set (the current value of the parking, tail duty cycle value), optional external FET ballast can be designed to carry out the required high-current power distribution. Delay reduces the power limit over-voltage conditions in the drive current. This is not an external FET, low-current applications is important.

NCV7680-NCV3163 Evaluation Board

NCV7680-NCV3163 evaluation board contains NCV7680 (octal driver) and NCV3163 (step-up regulator.) NCV3163 LED strings by raising the anode voltage can increase the output of each LED NCV7680 number. DIAG pin is used to report on open position.
